Magnum 2024 100g Hop Pellets

Magnum is mostly used as a bittering hop in many different beers. Perhaps most in IPA, but also suitable in most other beers. The hops have a fairly anonymous aroma, and this is a big advantage, because it does not overwhelm other aroma-rich hop types to any great extent.

Aroma/Taste:
Subtle aroma/taste of pepper, lemon, apple

Usage:
Bitter

Alternative hops:
Columbus, Perle, Nugget

Recommended beer styles:
IPA, Ale, Lager

Hop combination tips:
Magnum, Cascade

Country of origin: Germany
Vintage: 2024
Alpha acid content: 13.6%
Package size: 100 grams

Packaging:
The hops are gently weighed, nitrogen flushed and sealed in light-tight aluminum-coated packaging for optimal shelf life.
Flushing with nitrogen displaces oxygen that would otherwise degrade the quality of the hops. This method lowers the oxygen content in the bag to 0.6-0.8% oxygen which is very good for preserving quality/taste/aroma. The hop bag is stored cool at <4 degrees Celsius.

The opened bag is squeezed together and closed with a ziplock for further storage in the refrigerator.
